Modernising and digitisation is a complex thing, unravelling intricate and often customized systems to be able to upgrade stops many people doing it. Not Hitachi Energy, who decided to move from a customized system with classic UI to Smart UI. 

In this session we will talk about the successes and difficulties encountered during this project. Discuss the original implementation of Content Management, why there were customizations in the first place and how the work was done to transition to Smart UI. We will look at driving user adoption, the complexity of change management within a big organization and the best practices that have evolved from the project. 

We will also talk about the future plans for Content Management in Hitachi Energy, readiness for AI and creating business value.
