Shafida Hermy Halamy is a technology leader with more than 26 years of experience supporting transformation work across the banking, telecommunications, oil and gas, and global outsourcing sectors. With a background in operations, project management, and IT service management, she is recognized for her practical approach to change and her ability to deliver steady, reliable results. Shafida values people development and believes that building capable, motivated teams is key to helping an organization grow and succeed.
Shafida currently serves as the Manager of End User Services at Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad, where she oversees the IT End User Services portfolio, including the IT Service Desk, IT support operations, end point technology modernization, and IT asset management. In this role, she has led key nationwide initiatives such as the Windows 11 deployment, technology modernization efforts, security modernization rollouts, and large scale IT asset disposal across the Bank. These initiatives have helped strengthen compliance, improve governance, and deliver meaningful cost efficiencies for the organization.
Beyond her corporate role, Shafida is an active leader within the Project Management Institute (PMI) Malaysia Chapter. She frequently speaks on a variety of topics, including project management, technology, and leadership, sharing real world experience and practical insights with diverse audiences. She has represented PMI Malaysia as a speaker at numerous events both in Malaysia and abroad. In addition to her speaking engagements, Shafida has also led the PMI Malaysia Podcast and contributed to the Chapter’s webinars and professional development programs.
Shafida holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and a Master’s Degree in Corporate Communication. She is also credentialed with several global professional certifications in project management, service management, and cloud technologies.
