Victor Anthony Fedeli, born on August 8, 1956, in North Bay, Ontario, has served as the Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) for Nipissing since 2011, representing the Progressive Conservative (PC) Party. Fedeli's career in public service is marked by his roles as Ontario's Minister of Finance and Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade.

Minister of Finance (2018-2019)
During his tenure as Minister of Finance, Vic Fedeli played a crucial role in shaping Ontario's fiscal policies. Some of his notable achievements include:
•Tax Reforms: He introduced several tax reforms designed to stimulate economic growth and support businesses.
•Red Tape Reduction: Streamlining of administrative burdens for Ontario businesses, spurring investment and job creation.
•Deficit Reduction: Under his leadership, Ontario made strides in reducing its fiscal deficit, which contributed to a more stable economic environment.


Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade (2019-present)
As Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, Fedeli has focused on attracting investments and fostering economic growth in Ontario. His achievements in this role include:
• $15 billion investment by Honda to create Canada’s first comprehensive electric vehicle supply chain, located in Ontario. This large-scale project will see four new manufacturing plants in Ontario and create thousands of direct and indirect jobs across the province.
• $7 billion investment by Volkswagen to build a facility in St. Thomas, ON, that will manufacture electric vehicle batteries. Once completed, the facility will be the largest building in Canada and will create up to 3,000 direct jobs and up to 30,000 indirect jobs. The plant will produce batteries for up to one million electric vehicles per year.
• $5 billion investment by Stellantis, in partnership with LG Energy Solutions, to build electric vehicle batteries in Windsor, ON. The project will have an annual production capacity of 45 gigawatt-hours, which will supply batteries for Stellantis' North American EV production. It is expected to create over 2,000 jobs.

Before entering politics, Vic Fedeli founded Fedeli Advertising, a successful advertising company in North Bay. He also served as the Mayor of North Bay from 2003 to 2010, where he focused on fiscal prudence and economic development.
