Andrea Zanetti is an Italian born software and data engineer, currently leading the Data Platform Team for Lastminute.com.

He likes to define himself as a "physicist lent to the software world". He's been pestering his colleagues with unasked for technical rigour since 2012.

He started working in the field as a system engineer (now we would call that an SRE), then transitioned to software development and big data and never looked back.
