Michael started Osterman Research in 2008 and is the Principal Analyst. He has a broad interests in cybersecurity, data protection and information governance. He is the author of seven books and has contributed to over 100 research programs at Osterman Research and holds a Master of Commerce with first-class honours in telecommunications-based IT from the University of Canterbury.
