Elaina Chan is the Senior Delivery Lead for Automation and AI within IBM’s CIO HRIT organisation, where she drives large scale digital transformation across HR through
innovative Client Zero initiatives. Working in partnership with IBM HR, IBM Software and IBM Consulting, Elaina leads mission critical programmes that advance the adoption of Generative AI, Agent technologies, Cloud and Workforce Science across the enterprise.

With a strong focus on impact and execution, Elaina oversees stakeholder engagement, strategic prioritisation and the full delivery lifecycle for AI enabled HR solutions. Her leadership has accelerated AI deployment across CIO and HR, pioneering new, consumer grade digital experiences while unlocking measurable productivity gains for IBM’s global workforce.

Across her twenty-four years in transformational delivery, Elaina has been instrumental in shaping IBM HR’s three year technology vision and in championing the responsible,
scalable integration of AI into HR systems and processes. Her ability to bridge technical, strategic and human centred perspectives makes her a sought after voice in

A Certified IT Architect, Elaina brings extensive transformation expertise across various Payroll and Expense platforms including SAP, the SWIFT Platform and watsonx
Orchestrate. She is known for her practical insights and ability to translate emerging technology into meaningful workforce outcomes.
