Pedro Soldado es actualmente el Vicepresidente de la Región Sur de EMEA en OpenText para ECS.
Profesional sénior de tecnologías de la información con más de 25 años de experiencia en soluciones de software empresarial. Pedro procede de la adquisición de Micro Focus, empresa a la que se incorporó en 2012 como Director General para Iberia y Latinoamérica y, poco después, asumió la responsabilidad de la Región Sur. Tras la adquisición de HPE Software, pasó a ser Vicepresidente de toda la Unidad de Negocio en la Región Sur y, posteriormente, Vicepresidente para Europa Norte y Sur. Finalmente, cuando la compañía decidió centrarse en la especialización, se convirtió en líder mundial de GTM para AMC.
Antes de incorporarse a Micro Focus, Pedro pasó doce años en BMC Software, donde desempeñó diversos roles siempre relacionados con ventas: Account Executive, Key Account Executive, Global Account Manager para Banco Santander y Telefónica, y Director de Ventas para el sector privado. Antes de eso, Pedro trabajó en Gartner.
Pedro es licenciado en Matemáticas y tiene un MBA por IE Business School. Está casado, tiene dos hijos y le gustan el fútbol, el tenis, montar en bicicleta, el ajedrez y muchos otros deportes. Reside en Madrid (España).

Senior Information Technology professional with more than 25 years of experience in enterprise software solutions. Pedro is coming from the Micro Focus acquisition where he joined in 2012 as General Manager for Iberia and Latin America region and immediately after was responsible for the South Region. After the HPE Software acquisition, he became the VP for the whole of the BU in the Southern Region, and later the VP for North & South Europe. Finally, when the company decided to focus on specialization, he became WW AMC GTM leader.
Prior to joining Micro Focus, Pedro spent twelve years at BMC Software where he developed various roles all related to Sales; Account Executive, Key Account Executive, Global Account Manager for Banco Santander and Telefónica and Sales manager for the private sector. Prior to that Pedro worked for Gartner.
Pedro holds a Mathematics Degree and an MBA from the IE Business School. Pedro is married, has two children, likes football, tennis, bike riding, chess, and many other sports. He is based in Madrid (Spain).
